Hi Indira,
I accidentally stumbled across your Website and I loved every one of your recipes I have tried so far! In fact, if I am looking for a new recipe and I see it in your blog, I don't second guess, I just assume it will be great and so far, they have been the best!
A small comment about the article on milk, it's by PETA, so it has to be taken with a grain of salt! I guess lots of environmentally friendly places have Organic milk and milk products from local farmers that support ethical treatment of animals! I pay a lot more for these products, but I feel less guilty and/or horrified!
Also, no one source of food is complete nutrition anyway, I guess it depends on how you look at it!Just throwing my 2 cents worth :)....

Indira,
One day i was searching for something and then accidentally got in to this site.I liked it very much.so,i visit quite often. When i read about the "milk" link,i could not take it easy and feel vommitting whenever i see a milk product.I had to take 3 portions of dairy as i am carrying right now. Please donot post a content like this until you are 100% sure.I donot think this information is totally believable.(may be right to some extent).this site always left me a pleasant feeling everytime i visited, except this one.Sorry if my comments hurt your feelings.

My mother is Korean, so I grew up with a taste for tofu. I'm slightly lactose-intolerant, so I was quite happy the first time I heard that tofu could be used in place of paneer. And kudos for putting up the link regarding milk production. Even though I am no longer vegan, I do try to limit the amount of dairy that I consume.

Indira says...
My husband, Vijay loves tofu. We use it quite frequently though I never posted any recipes sofar. I add them to stif fries, gravy curries etc., It almost tastes like paneer, doesn't it?
We both love milk and products, but after coming here to US, reading the atrocious way, people here obtain milk from cows, we had to limit it.

I read the milk controversy and it is sad. I am kinda proud now that in India this sort of torment does not happen to male cows. Anyways, I see you are using your photo placement knowledge well.

After going through that site and some others, we reduced our milk consumption very much. Yogurt and few drops in coffee, tea or ragi malt- that's it.
Give a good thing to these folks- they will find a way to spoil it.

Still learning, did you find the links useful?
