great site. thrilled to see nandyal on the global map! it's my mom's place and we used to visit our cousins who used to live near deepak lodge on byrmal street from bangalore every summer. we're planning a visit on feb 9 after many years! i remember the udupi krishna bhavan hotel opp the bus stand, spicy chutney with dosas. any interesting eating joints. would like to know if there are any hotels with decent accommodation. there used to be one shobha lodge near raj theatre

Dear Indira, Fantastic website. Recipes are excellent.

Wanted to find out if we can have a weekly menu / shopping list. Would make life so much simpler. I have such a hard time planning my khaana for the week. I am not sure if there r more like me with similar requests :) But any help in this area would be really helpful

Hi Indira,

One of my favourite indian food, Saag Bhaji - which i order without fail on every visit to my local Indian restaurant. (I don't know how to cook it!)

What can i say, spinach is great source for iron.

You have a great site - thanks for sharing...

Aloo palak is one of my favorite dishes, but I also do masoor dal palak, and find that to be a lovely dish.

I also like to eat raw spinach salad with goat cheese, roasted beets and pears.

I think I just like spinach.
