Thank you all for responding.

Veena.. thanks so much for the links and the information. I am going to enquire about Savvy magazine with my friends in India.
I wish someone would take photos of Annapoorna and Ruchi Palate and publish on flickr or some other Indian food forums. I would love to see what they are writing and how the recipes turn out when tried.

Indira - here is a picture of the 2001 Diwali special issue of the Annapoorna magazine: http://www.rasik.com/database/marathi/books/b0121/cover_2001.jpg.

They publish 'regular' issues as well, but I don't know the frequency.

Indira -

Besides Upper Crust and Tarla Dalal, there is also the Savvy Cookbook magazine (see here for description: http://wqn.tolshop.com/gifts-to-india/gifts-M12.html). I have recently found out about two food magazines in Marathi - Annapoorna and Ruchi Palate. My sister has purchased the Diwali special issues for me this year; I'll send you more information once I get my hands on them.
