Actually we were very surprised to see no crowds even at Circuit City. The foot traffic was like normal shopping days, Stephanie.
We went mainly for the 512mb memory flash card for my digital camera. On the way, we bought other things too.
You know me, I am from India, I love crowds and I can’t resist a good deal for a useful thing.:)

Wow! You braved the crowds? I’m impressed.

I haven’t gone out on a Black Friday in years. First it was catalogs, now it’s the web. I barely set foot inside a store from November to January (unless it’s for food, of course).

Great website! All my fav recipes are here, especially the mullangi sambhar and my fav parpu usulli. I have been trying (not to hard!) to get the parpu usulli recipe, but was not successful. Thanks!

I was wondering if you could post the recipe for pullikachal (or puliyodharai, tamrind rice).
