Hi Indira,
Thanks for visiting our city and writing nice things about it. Yes summer is the season you visit Toronto. Also next time when you come, visit Brar's restaurant in Brampton. Its all vegetarian buffet. Downtown also has good Indian places to eat.
Let me know when you are visiting us again.
Regards,
Devika

Hi Indira,

My post on my visit to Toronto
http://tilotamma.blogspot.com/2005/07/taste-of-home.html

I couldn't stock up on anything but I did buy a pressure cooker on Gerard street.

Hi Tilo, mangoes are worth the travelling, if you ask me. Thanks for the link.
Because of cold winter weather, India bazaar was like ghost town when we visited. That too, we went on a weekday. There are not that many people out there and we felt very happy to see atleast the shops open. Summer seems to be the time to visit Toronto.:)</i>

Hey.. we have to eat on vacation too.. :). Because we don't have any Indian restaurants and grocery shops in our small town, we go all out during this kind of out of town trips.
Weather was really bad, no Sunlight at all, toronto photos were taken around 11am, but they look like it was almost evening.</i>

Yum.. frozen vegetables were also on sale, 99 cents. I bought quite a few packets of drumsticks, karela, bendi etc.,
Hard to find... I bought fresh ripe guava and gooseberries after a long(almost 6 years) time. I will definitely post pictures. Thanks!

Kalyn.. Wish you the same!

Wish you a merry Christmas and happy new year India.

Glad to see you back Indira. Cute pictures!

My Mom had sent me a message stating that out of all the wishes she received on her birthday, she loved the most touching wishes of yours. A big thank you from her side.
