Thank you for posting this recipe. It's very easy to make and if you have the "pappula podi" ready it can be done in few minutes.
Plus it is very tasty.

Tastes as good as it looks. The "pappula podi " touch makes this dish taste a lot different from the regular vegetable fry. To my surprise the red and orange peppers taste a little different from the regular green bell peppers. That's a good enough reason for me to buy yellow and red bell peppers, apart from green bell peppers. Thank you for the recipe mam.

Indira - I made this last night and had it with dal and rice - it was delicious! Thanks again!

Indira replies,
Sorry, Cathy, I couldn't reply to your earlier comments. I was out of town this weekend and your comments went down in my wordpress comments list.
'Dalia' - they look exactly like chana dal, but lighter in weight and taste also very different. They taste really good when freshly made and sometimes the store bought ones taste little bit stale. I hope you got a good one(fresh dalia) and enjoyed the taste.
Thanks for trying out the recipe and I'm glad that it turned out good.:)

Indira replies,
Unless it's related to food, I'm not very interested in answering any other tags, that's my rule.
Sorry Anthony, I'm going to take a pass, on this meme. Hope that's ok.

Looking Good is Very Empowering

I'd been having a little argument with myself about whether or not my little Blogher posts about low carb or low fat recipes were just a bit fluffy compared to the important issues that some of you were writing about, when suddenly I got it . . .

That is so pretty!

In the summer here, there are farmers who grow purple peppers, too. They would look pretty with the red, green, yellow and orange.

Calico curry!

Indira replies..
I've yet to try the purple ones, Barbara, the colour looks so weird to me.:)

Indira - that sounds fantastic! I'm always tempted to buy one of each color when I see those beautiful bell peppers (sometimes they have orange too!) - this would be the perfect way to use them. Thanks!
