You did a simply fabulous job. I can't imagine how many house you spent resizing and posting everything. The way you did is so gorgeous. A true professional. Thank you so much! This was my first food blog event. I am most impressed. It was a very popular event. I have been looking around at some others and you got so much response. Great Job!

Indira... I feel special even as you say that. Thaankoo.

aah.. You could have told me one word and I would have definitely sent you a poem.

But time is always ours, so let me conjure something up. Anything for Mahanandi!

Still not up to the mark to submit something. How I wish!!

Indira replies:
Looking forward to your entry, VT. I'll certainly include it in my roundup.

Excellent round up! Love the summaries of each recipe along with the pictures.

Congratulations on such a successful event!

Indira replies:
Thanks GM, but I missed yours and Kay's participation. You two can cook and write beautifully!
What happened, not a big fan of mango?

Bliss...
Golden yellow colour everywhere! The post is as much a treat for the eyes as are the recipes for the soul.
Looking at all those recipes and photos, it seems Tyagaraja might have as well sung
Tina tina ruchira
aamra phalama ninnu

Dina dinamunu manasuna chanuvuna ninnu
Rasamu gAru momuna SrI apara mahima danaru ninnu

hope you do more of such great events in future!!

Indira replies:
The roundup is colorful, isn't it?
Our elders knew how magnificient and majestic mango is. Thanks for sharing this beautiful verse.
I was expecting a poem/article from you about mangoes for this event. Thought you'd be interested to participate.
Only if you promise to send an entry.:), thanks VT!

A very systematically done round-up, Indira. Thanks.
And thanks to the blogger fraternity for having come up with unique dishes (not a single one repeated there!).
It's quite overwhelming to know that food (something which some people would call mundane) can connect people over continents.
Long live JFI!
