Where can I order frooti in large quantity? This is the only drink my 3 years old sucks it dry in just a few minutes and ask for more!! I never thought that is possible! We live in Atlanta, Georgia

Thanks for your comments and sharing your memories. Though this is a commercial fruit drink, but being the first one in the market and with its catchy ads and super sweet mango taste, it captivated us all and we all have special relation with the frooti.

When my parents went to Bombay in 1985, they brought 6 Frooti along with other goodies from there. I think Parle did not start their National Campaign yet. Tetrapak juice was like an alien spacecraft for us those days. We kept them in our friend’s fridge and savored them for few days taking 3 sips at a time. kind of nostalgic about Frooti.

The first thing I remember when I hear or read about fruity is one particular scene from a telugu movie where sreelakshmi has this thing abt ads and keeps trying every thing and so she wants to jump into a big tank of juicy…
And I laugh like crazy at that memory :):):):):)

Frooti was a special treat to us too. I remember the green box it used to come in. Do they still have that? I even remember the old TV ad of frooti. Haven’t had it in a loooooooong time.

Hey, where did you get that? My sister and I - we were so crazy about Frooti, Indira. My mother always knew what to treat us with, whenever we made her happy/proud. However, somehow I find it too sweet for my taste now. I have grown-up, I guess. (Or have I just grown older?)

Are wah, Indira, where did you find these? Did you go to Pittsburgh this weekend? Frooti brings a flood of memories back for me. Come summer, I used to drink frooti all the time. My mom also makes amazing mango juice at home (the kind that can be stored all year around).
