Hi Indira,
after seeing your simple but delicious pickle, I loved to try so went to supermarket. There I saw ones still with stem intact, so I thought it must be fresher... after I came home I realized what I just bought is zucchini *lol*

Cool recipe. This reminds me of my trip to Bangalore where in the summer there were 'thelewalas' selling cool cucumber mixed with all of the above with green chutney and a lil chat masala. I still make this cucumber salad when I need a light lunch :) I love your website. Great Stuff.

As always ure pics are excellent as are ure recipes. I like the concept of pickling cucumbers as u have noted. It does make for a great addition to sandwiches or even delectable by itself. I am going to try this with the cucumbers I have in the fridge and make a sandwich with this and the extra lettuce in the fridge+whole wheat bread and the home made hummus I have+some carrots we have. Jeez, there are an infinite number of things u could combine to make a great recipe with these cucumbers and it sure beats the store bought pickles I bet.

ure biggest fan,
