No kidding!! I was looking at the pictures and thinking how the hell did you get such wonderful pictures... the Mamiya explains it! I am not belittling the talent it takes to get these shots! Great work.

Hi Indira,

I recently came across your site and i love all recipes posted by you. I started trying few and all turned out well. Great job. Hats off to you:) I am pregnant and badly craving for fluffy idlis. But i dont have a pressure cooker. So when i cook it in a pan with closed lid they either turn out hard or become watery.
so please help me with a good pressure cooker.please reply ASAP.
Thanks

Hi Anu: Thanks for your reply.
I purchased that bread baking pan from 1 dollar store. It's a <a href="http://www.instawares.com/Wear-Ever-Aluminum-Loaf-Pan--45-x-16-x-4.978566.0.7.htm?GCID=C17378x009&KEYWORD=978566" target="_blank">standard aluminum bread-baking pan</a>.
The one shown in this post is Laforme bread baking pan - here is the <a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004RC3U/sr=1-20/qid=1152125145/ref=sr_1_20/103-8985612-9348602?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden" rel="nofollow">link</a>.
Thanks and happy cast-iron cooking!:)

Shoshauna, Vaishali and Kirthika - thanks. I am looking for recipes with these pans. If you have any particular recipe using these baking pans, please share. I'll certainly try. Thanks.

Aparna: Good luck with the move and best wishes.
I've asked Vijay to write an article about food photography for "mahanandi". Right now he is extremely busy with studies and work, but he promised me to write one soon with lots of tips. Thanks for your interest, Aparna.

Venky - Thanks.

Thanks Stef. They are fun little cute things, aren't they? I have been looking for them for a while, finally got them this weekend at a price I like to pay.:)

Fellow FM fan :). Thanks Gauri.

Vamsi,
This is an all manual, Medium Format film camera and doesn't have any digital back. The model is Mamiya RB67. I bought the body and will also get a lens soon.

Packing up to move to Bangalore was second priority today. Got busy on net to know more about Mamiya RB 67...

Thanks for the "sophesticated" post:)

When are you starting photo blogging.. believe me it does help people like us with poor photography but rich interest.
