Very tragic. Violence is never the solution to anything. "An eye for an eye" only makes people blind and doesn't resolve anything.

I have no idea what to say except thanks for coming together to share the pain and greif at what happened yesterday.
Reading your comments helped me a lot to deal with the pain and I hope you felt the same way too.
If there is anyway I can help, please don't hesitate to write a comment or provide a link here.
Thank you!

I agree with you Vijay, my father went to attend a wedding to mumbai and fortunately he was back one day before the gruesome attacks by the terrorists, but there are many other innocent people who are not fortunate enough and became a prey. Iam sorry Uma, hope your cousin's husband gets well soon. This is very sad, I sincerely hope some force could stop this from repeating.

So sad and terrifying.Such a shame on our government still letting these incidents happen hurting thousands of innocent people. All they do is tracking whoever did this and that and make fake promises as if they are going to stop this. But what's the use in regreting after the harm is done.So...sad. Uma, so sorry to hear about your cousin's husband.Wish he would get better soon.

What a terrible day. My cousin's husband is in hospital with burns, and he was luckier than many people on his train. Since I was four, I've taken trains on the western line, to school, college, and work. Yesterday, when I saw one of the photos of the blasts online, I recognized my neighborhood in the background. My mother said one of the bombed trains came to a halt right across from our balcony overlooking the tracks. She could see and hear the fear and pain of people coming out of the mangled train. Workmen spent all night removing mangled wires and metal from the tracks by lamplight, in the rain. Trains are running today. As a child, my lost her home in the Bombay Explosion of 1944, and now, in her seventies, terrorism is at her door. Still, she's one of the gentlest, calmest people I know. I pray for all those who lost their life and limbs, and for the bereaved families.
