[...] Talk about a helping and healing fruit! We’re talking about tender coconuts, as opposed to the ones you’re likely more familiar with – which are actually mature and past-ripe, although still packed with amazing health benefits! As far as I’m concerned, we should make a list why we all shouldn’t be eating these every day. Cutting quick to the chase, here are 18 (more) reasons to love coconuts: [...]

Hi Indira,
Did you use any butcher knife to cut this. Need to give everyday for my friend for a teeny tiny medical reason ;-) Thanks.

Hi Victoria,
I usually cut the tender coconut with a small and very sharp pairing knife. Place the knife on the tender coconut and gently tap it with hammer. Tap until it makes a hole and move the knife to next point and tap with hammer again. It's like opening a soup can but with knife and hammer.
Hope this helps.

Indira,
So you bought the sweet lemons in Larry's is it? I checked that store out, but didn't find it that impressive except for some dry fruits. Now that you mentioned it, I think I will give it a second chance.

How sweet is the sweetish taste in this curry?

-Mythili

Indira replies:
HI Mythili, We were at Bellevue two weeks ago for our car maintaince. Near to that dealership was this shop. Just went there for quick browsing. Bought only these sweet lemons.
It's a combination of all 5 flavors. Sweetly bitter in one word.:)
Happy New Year and Happy Sankranthi.
