Archana, Manisha and AA thanks very much for your response.

We weren’t at home yesterday and I was totally unaware of this incident. Thanks AA for notifying me. I removed the comments display on the sidebar about a year ago. I don’t know how this could have happened all of a sudden. We are still trying to find the leak to prevent future happenings.

If any of you know more about this type of comment spam, could you please mail me at (mailmahanandi@gmail.com). Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

I know it should be obvious to me…but I cant seem to find your email here!!
I will blame it on the lack of coffee!!

What I saw was what Manisha mentions…it was a comment feed that appeared just under your calender on the right side bar, that said ‘blogmouthfuls.com’ and then ‘XXX link on guggullu’, ’similar link’ on ’sanagaballa thotakura’ etc.

Since it isnt there anymore, I suppose it was a template thing too…

I didnt mean to cause unnecessary alarm, just wanted to make you aware in case you were not.

Hey Indira, I saw some stuff. It looked like comment feeds were included in the right sidebar to show recent comments. Some of them were the kind that you usually send straight to the spam bin. The HTML code appeared to be broken. I saw this earlier this evening but couldn’t post a comment or send you an email at the time.

I don’t see it now so I’m guessing it was something you were playing with in the template and have since removed.

I took a trip to Pike Place in search of these beauties but I was too late, most of the veggie stalls had closed and I couldn’t find any!

Bummer.. also, I dont see any of the frozen kind at Trader Joes any more by U District. Its also sad as I really enjoy the taste of green garbanzos.

By the way, I dont see issues that AA posted about. Your site looks ok to me.

These are beautiful! I remember I was breathless the first time I saw fresh chickpeas in their individual little podlings–Why should I have been so surprised?
I guess I always imagined that they just dropped into their bins at the grocer’s out of the sky.

If anyone in New York is looking for green garbanzos, I have seen them at some grocery stores in the Flushing section of Queens–mostly Main Street and Kissena Blvd. Sorry I can’t be more precise.

Thats strange! As soon as I posted the comment, they disappeared. It was showing under “blogmouthfuls.com”…and now suddenly that whole section of the sidebar is gone.
