Dear Indira,
Another picture-perfect post. The tomatoes look really red and luscious. I am going to try the pachchadi soon. It is quite different and interesting from what we make at home.

Look forward to the recipe...Andhra pickles are my most fav kind - I've been making the Andhra mango-garlic pickle forever. The other favourite ones are this tomato one, chilli pickle, and the ginger one (the sweet kind)...hopefully I'll find all the recipes here eventually.

Hi Indira, this looks so lovely! My mum makes something that looks very similar, which she learned from a sweet and talented servant girl who used to work in our house. Her recipe has onions, ginger, garlic, chili powder, salt, and sugar. But we don't bottle it -- we just make a little and eat it as a side dish with our meal. I'll be interested to compare your recipe if you do decide to post it, and will definitely try it out if it's different from my mum's!
