  3. I totally agree with Saju, its Number 1. Here is why I say that: When I prepare my mom and grandmom’s recipes, I always feel, pity for those who never got to eat this dish…this pappu mudha…aa heaven thats how I feel! In my opinion, nothing can beat simple, age old recipes that are tried and tested from generations! I like to follow as-is for recipes that are from our elders. And when I see your authentic andhra recipes, I can tell you would agree with me. I really am proud of you Girl! To all my friends n co-workers who would say that they like Indian cusine,I always say to them that restaurant prepared recipes are not even close to what they would feel when they eat any homemade INDIAN Food! South or North., east or west..authentic is always a class in itself! And I am sure it is same for any cusine! You have a great weekend!
    Regards,
    Nina

  12. Indira,

Congratulations! I just saw vijay’s article about you in the homepage and couldnt resist posting this comment. I am also very surprised to know that you a doctor by profession. No wonder you are so good at everything you do. Also, has it really been 20 years since your marriage? wow..you guys make a perfect couple.Anyway, just sensing your perfection at ur cooking/writing skills, i must say that if you are currently providing services as a doctor, it would definitely make a difference to the society. Keep up the good work and all the best.

  20. Thank you all for your lovely notes! I greatly appreciate your affectionate words.

Because of frequent server crashes, web statistics has become an obsession with me lately.:)
About the number – I found it an interesting measure.

  24. Hi Indira,

I just came across this website accidently and just added it to my favorites list. Now I look at it once a day and I have prepared many of your dishes. I am from Hyderabad and I have tasted all Andhra and Telangana dishes when I was growing up. I love your blog. I have recommended it to several of my friends. Thanks for your great efforts!!
