Thanks for the response. I am honored. I used half cup of rice and half cup of moong dal and cooked this mixture with 2cups of milk and 3 cup of rice.Then later I made syrup with one and quarter  cup  of gaggery and one cup of water.....
I think my pakam(gaggery syrup) is very little and when I added rice mixture to it is just got thick and it didn't cook in the pakam....So next time I have to put more water in pakam I think.
Sorry to take the lot space here.
I hope next time it will come out very good. I really really like this sweet. In my home my mother never made it. I had ataste of chakrapongali first time in one of the temple. The taste of the prasadam was very amazing. I never forgot that. Someday I will master this sweet.
