Hi Indra,
This pomegranate pachadi looks good. Planning to make this sometime. Just want to know, is it to be eaten as such, or can it serve as an accompaniment for any main course for e.g. with some spicy sambar rice or something like that.

Hi Nandita,
This is like a mini dessert. Not that good to mix with rice etc.
This is how I do: Prepare, refrigerate and at the end of meal, serve it in small cups. (Replacing the yogurt rice.)
- Indira

May I offer another variation? I saw another version on TV the other day. Half the seeds are crushed and strained. The juice is mixed with yoghurt. The rest of the seeds are mixed in directly. In delicious pink hue, it looked yummy. Your post has strengthened my resolve to make pomegranate yoghurt!

Thank you for the wishes, my friends.

Wishing you a happy and shubha Deepavali and fabulous weekend!

Padmaja: It's a clay pot, purchased it at a pottery barn few years ago. Great for yogurt making. Also thanks for sharing the mom's thanksgiving dessert. It's definitely my kind of meal.:)

Shalini: Thanks for your interest in parvel recipe. Right now, I am little bit busy with festival day preparations. Will definitely add the recipe by this weekend.
