  1. It’s really co-incidental that you mentioned chocolate, Indira. I was grocery shopping a couple of hours ago and amidst all the fancy chocolate available, I was drawn to Dairy Milk just because it reminded me of my days in India and I grabbed it with no other thoughts.

It is very nice to now enjoy my chocolate and your website’s new look.Very sweet symbolic home and moon chocolate pictures. Great creativity, as usual!

Happy New Year to you and your family. Keep cooking and make millions of cooks worldwide happy!

  6. happy new year Indira! I’ve been a silent reader of your website for a couple of years now, and love it, and the fact that you interact with your readers.

Do you have any recommendations for a good electric spice grinder? All the ones I’ve used (Cuisinart especially) have broken within weeks! I always use freshly ground spices in my cooking, and am completely at a loss now about which one to buy for Indian spice grinding. (It ideally should also be able to take the strain of grinding pappulu for podilu…)

Oh, and I’m a student, and therefore have a limited budget.

    Please help!

  10. Happy new year to you and Jeff, Deepthi. I loved reading your new year post. I should print and attach it to my desktop.:)

    Thanks Sri.

New year wishes to you and your lovely family, Madhuli.

Thanks and Happy New year Lavi and Archana.

Hi Vasudha, I would go with Sumeet or preeti syle mixer. Though they are little bit expensive, there is nothing in the market that matches these machines for our cooking needs.
Best investment for a tasteful 08.:) Happy new year!

Thank you Kalva and Rina. Happy new year!

.:), Happy new year Linda. Hope you had lovely time at UM.
