Let me let out the Programming geek in me. I think you need to enable CAPTCHA for comments(you know those squiggly letter things they make you type in at banking sites etc). If your website is getting flooded with malicious comments, this may make the attackers work a little harder :) I love your website and have enjoyed the fruits of your labor :)
