First day of the year and what are we going to do?
Let’s dig a hole and plant something fruitful.
That’s what we did today. We dug a hole in the backyard and planted a mango tree. It’s a Cogshall variety mango, a housewarming gift from friends Sunil and Anita. Also planted four rows of sprouted red potatoes. Houston winter is almost like northeast spring. I am hoping the plants would survive the winter here without any fear of frost.
